AU - عطاء الله، كزواي AB - The present study aims to find out the most difficult area in the mathematics learning among pupils of the fourth year of primary school according to the mathematics textbook, numbers, calculation, measurement, engineering, problem solving, and this can be done by developing a tool which has validity indexes as a tool specialized in detecting what has already been mentioned. In addition, the nature of this research goes with the application of descriptive method, specifically it is an exploratory and descriptive study. This study was applied to a sample of teachers of primary education in Laghouat consisting of 40 teachers were randomly selected. A questionnaire was built consisting of 40 items. The researcher concluded to the existence of evident differences in the degrees of difficulty depending on the following areas: numbers and calculations, measurement, engineering and problem solving, where solving problems dimension scores 77.95 % and is the highest rate for the other dimensions.
