AB - This study aimed at finding out the personality traits of private school principals in Jeddah school district in The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, and their relationship to principals’ leadership styles. Two instruments were used: Eysenck Personality Questionnaire to measure personality traits of principals, and a questionnaire developed by the researcher to measure the leadership styles. The study found that the prevailed personality traits of private school principals was Extroversion and the prevailed leadership style practiced by principals was the democratic style. The study also found set of relationships as: a significant positive relationship between democratic style and extroversion, between autocratic style and neuroticism and psychoticism traits, a negative relationship between the autocratic style and extroversion.Finally, there was no significant relationship between Laissez-faire style and neuroticism, psychoneurosis and lying style.
