AB - The main purpose of this study to investigate the perceived factors influencing acceptance and educational use of twitter by college of education students at king Faisal university. The hypothesized model was developed through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) of Davis (1989). Five factors were tested Perceived of Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Communication, Learner attitude toward the use of technology, and educational use of twitter. All these constructs were modified to suit the context of the study. Two hundred forty college of education students (240) participated in an electronic survey. Parametric statistics were used to analyze the data obtained. Results showed that communication, usefulness, and learner attitude had positive impact the level of use of micro blogging in education. Communication factors was the most important construct factor that influencing acceptance and educational use of twitter by college students. The study concludes with some practical recommendation in regard to social network implementation in higher education.
