AU - حمدون، هبة عبد القادر محمد AB - The study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a program based on some mathematics learning strategies in English for acquiring mathematical terminology and developing mathematical thinking for primary experimental languages schools' pupils. The sample of the study consisted of (50) males and females of 4th year primary school pupils at Elkharga in new valley governorate. The sample was selected randomly. The two researchers used a quasi-experimental of two groups: one is experimental and the other is control. The experimental group consisted of (25) pupils at experimental languages school. The control group consist of (25) pupils at differentiated languages school. The experimental group studied geometry and measurement by using the suggested program based on mathematics language learning in English. The control group studied the same unit by the usual method. For achieving the research aim, the two researchers prepared a test for acquiring the mathematical terminology and a test of mathematical thinking. The results of the study revealed the excellence of experimental group pupils to control group pupils in acquiring mathematical terminology and mathematical thinking skills. In the light of the study, the two researchers presented some recommendations and further studies.
