AB - The present study aimed to verify the effectiveness of the use of electronic games on the working memory development in gifted students. The sample included 27 students from the intermediate stage, divided into two groups 13 students as an experimental group, 14 students as a control group. The semi-empirical method was used. The study's consisted of tools raven (IQ test) for the detection of the study sample of gifted children: and used two tests to test the working memory for pre and posttest. Mean, standard deviations, and test the variance of the samples correlated were used. The results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, and were clear differences in the test of working memory capacity (geometric shapes). There were no significant differences in working memory speed test results (remember numbers), which indicates the impact of the use of electronic games on memory development of the mentally gifted students in the seventh grade in Kuwait.
