AU - الدولات، عدنان سالم AB - This study aimed to investigate the effect of using educational computerized program based on guided induction strategy on acquisition of scientific concepts among third grade students. In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher prepared scientific concepts acquisition test, and verified its validity and reliability. The sample of the study consisted of (52) third grade students. The study results showed a statistically significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) in the acquisition of scientific concepts by the third-grade students attributed to the method used, and these differences were in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed no statistically significant difference at the level (α = 0.05) among the third grade students in acquiring scientific concepts attributed to sex variable (male, female), or due to the interaction between the method used and sex. The study recommends the adoption of educational computerized programs design based on the guided induction strategy in teaching elementary stage science.
