AB - The study aimed to identify the contributions of the family in promoting the educational role to build future generations. The study sample was chosen by random cluster method, consisting of (59) heads of households and (98) students. To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was constructed consisting of (37) paragraphs covering three dimensions (knowledge, skill, and values). The validity and reliability of the instrument were verified and appropriate statistical methods were used to reach the results. The results of the study showed that the reality of the role of the family in enhancing the educational role was high according to the responses of students and parents, and revealed the existence of statistically significant differences in all dimensions of the educational role scale in favor of males. It also revealed the existence of statistically significant differences in the dimensions (skills, and values) of the measure of the role of the family in enhancing the educational role according to the change in the educational qualification of parents from their point of view. And the absence of differences of statistical significance in the (knowledge dimension) depending on the variable of scientific qualification for parents from their point of view. In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommend activating the role of parents' councils and increasing communication between the home and the school in order to enhance the educational role in its three dimensions (knowledge, values and skills) and develop a strategy to enhance the role of the educational family through schools and the media.
