AU - الحمادي، خضر قاسم محمد AB - This study is seeking to embody difficulties that confront students of fourth class in literary department memorizingpoetic texts chosen in book of literature and texts from the teacher’s point of view. The two researchers chose as a sample for their study, 33 schools divided into 15 schools for boys and -15-ones for girls from day secondary and preparatory schools followed to the general directorate for Baghdad education, AL–Rusafq the first. The two researchers haveprepared a questionnaire containing 22 articles representing . difficultiesIt became certain of this tool and its precision in memorizingpoetic texts coming these difficulties , This questionnaire was being put in to practice on sample of the study with a total number of 63 male and female teachers . After taking the data and repetitions statistically the researchers used The preferred weight and percentage weight and person correlativecoefficient results of the study showed existing real difficulties , confronting students in memorizing poetic texts and memorizing them3 The two researchershave recommended. The number of recommendations and suggestions 3ept in accordance to teachers of the subject.
