AU - سلامة، عبد الحافظ محمد AB - This study aims at identifying the level of educational technology knowledge from the perspective of first year students at the Middle East University, and the effect of their gender and high school scoring (good, very good and excellent) on their knowledge. To achieve that the researcher developed a questionnaire (of 38 items) on educational communication (7 items), traditional educational aids (11 items) and technological educational aids (20 items). The study sample consisted of (196) students (139 male student and 57 female student) of the first year students in the Middle East University, the study sample was selected in a stratified random way from all specialties in the university. The study results showed that the highest level of students’ educational technology knowledge was about the traditional educational aids, followed by the technological educational aids and then educational communication. Also the results showed statistically significant difference in the students’ responses due to their gender, in favor of female students. And a statistically significant difference in the students’ responses due to their high school scoring in favor of excellent scoring.
