AB - هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة إتقان طالبات المرحلة المتوسطة بالمملكة العربية السعودية لعمليات العلم الأساسية التكاملية. وقد كانت عينة الدراسة عشوائية مكونة من 300 طالبة في المرحلة المتوسطة من خمس مدارس بالرياض، تم اختيارها بطريقة عشوائية، وذلك بواقع 100 طالبة لكل صف؛ وبعد استبعاد إجابات الطالبات غير المكتملة، تمثلت العينة الفعلية في 242 طالبة موزعة على النحو الآتي: 88 طالبة للصف الأول المتوسط، 86 طالبة للصف الثاني المتوسط، و68 طالبة للصف الثالث المتوسط. وطبق عليهن اختبار مكون من 52 فقرة، موزعة بالتساوي على 13 محور (خمسة محاور لعمليات العلم التكاملية وثمانية محاور لعمليات العلم الأساسية). وقد أشارت النتائج إلى تدني مستوى إتقان الطالبات لعمليات العلم الأساسية والتكاملية. A random sample consisting of 300 females students from five middle schools in Riyadh, approximately 100 students per each class. After excluding incomplete answers by students the actual sample represented was 242 student distributed as 88, 86, and 68 students in seventh, eighth and ninth grade respectively. An instrument consisted of 52 items, which are distributed equally among (13 themes (five themes for integrated processes of science and eight themes for the basic science processes). The results have showed that the level of middle schools students' mastery of the basic operations and integrative science was very low.
