AU - أبو شنار، هيثم موسى AU - المقدادي، أحمد محمد AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء قدرة الطلبة على حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية في الصف الثالث المتوسط محافظة الخرج – المملكة العربية السعودية، كذلك استقصاء مقروئية كتاب الرياضيات الذي يدرسه الطلبة، والسعى لاكتشاف العلاقة بين القدرة على حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية ومستوى المقروئية. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 169 طالباً، من طلبة الصف الثالث المتوسط، يدرسون في ثلاث مدارس في محافظة الخرج. قام الباحث ببناء أدوات البحث: اختبار قياس المقروئية وفقاً لأسلوب(Cloze) واختبار حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى: 1) ضعف واضح عند الطلبة في حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية. 2) ضعف في مقروئية كتاب الرياضيات. 3) وجود علاقة قوية بين القدرة على حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية وقدرة الطلبة على القراءة، حيث وجد معامل الارتباط بيرسون (Pearson) يساوي r=0.9. واختُتمت الدراسة بعدد منال توصيات، من شأنها تحسين أداء الطلبة في اختبار المسائل الرياضية اللفظية، كذلك تحسين مقروئية كتاب الرياضيات للصف الثالث المتوسط، والكتب المدرسية بشكل عام .(ملخص المؤلف) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB - The research was set to investigate students’ performance to solve verbal mathematical problems of third intermediate students and to examine their readability level. Moreover, the study aimed at determining the correlation between students’ ability in solving verbal mathematical problems and their readability level. A sample of 169 students’ third intermediate students enrolled in three public schools in the Directorate Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia was selected in order to carry out the study, the researcher developed two instruments: the readability test instrument based on cloze approach, and an Achievement test to examine students’ performance in verbal mathematical problems. The research revealed weak ability of students’ performance in solving verbal mathematical problems and a frustration readability level. Furthermore, the research showed a high correlation between students’ performance in solving mathematical problems and their readability level with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.9 the research??
