AB - This study aimed at identifying the negative thinking and its relationship to academic achievement among secondary school students in north Hail education office schools. The measurement of negative thinking was applied on a sample of 460 male and female students from north Hail. The collected data was processed and analyzed by using SPSS. The results showed: high levels of negative thinking towards the self, the future, the environment, and others. Moreover, there is no relationships between negative thinking and academic level. Further, there are no statistical differences among students attributed to gender or nationality. Finally, there is no relationship between negative thinking and the economic level.
