AU - تهامي، جمعة سعيد AB - تسعى التصنيفات الدولية إلى ترتيب الجامعات والمراكز البحثية على مستوى العالم بموضوعية، وتسعى جامعاتنا لتحقيق الجودة؛ لتحظى بمنزلة في التصنيف العالمي للجامعات، ومن ثم تأتي الدراسة الحالية لتتناول أبرز هذه التصنيفات ومعاييرها، وتحديد واقع ترتيب الجامعات المصرية بينها، ومعرفة أسباب غيابها عن هذه التصنيفات، ثم وضع آليات لتطوير أدائها. إعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث يمكن من خلاله وصف الواقع الحالي للجامعات المصرية، وعرض أسباب تأخرها عن اللحاق بركب التقدم في التصنيف العالمي للجامعات، واقتراح آليات لتطوير أدائها من خلال استبانة تطبق على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة آليات لتطوير أداء الجامعات المصرية في ضوء معايير التصنيف العالمي من أبرزها: 1) توفير المصادر والمراجع الحديثة للباحثين، وزيادة عدد الاشتراكات في المجلات في مختلف التخصصات. 2) تشجيع الباحثين على نشر بحوثهم في مجلات دولية. 3) ضرورة تشكيل هيئة مستقلة لتصنيف الجامعات المصرية بالتعاون مع الهيئة القومية للاعتماد وضمان جودة التعليم. 4) إعادة النظر في محتويات الجامعة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية على الإنترنت. 5) توفير أساليب متنوعة لجذب الطلاب الوافدين ورعايتهم بالجامعة. 6) وضع خطة بحثية شاملة للبحث العلمي في ضوء احتياجات المجتمع وتشجيع طالب الدراسات العليا للتسجيل على نقاط بحثية ضمن هذه الخطة. 6) زيادة عدد البعثات والمنح الدراسية لطلاب الماجستير والدكتوراه الى الخارج. Our universities seeks to achieve quality; with a view to being among internationally ranked universities. Therefore, the current study deals with most prominent classifications, portraits the reality of Egyptian universities’ ranking on the international classification, gives a mention to reasons for their absence from such classifications and finally lays out mechanisms of developing the Egyptian universities’ performance. This study counts on an analytical descriptive approach, through which it can describe status quo of Egyptian universities, explains reasons that impede them from being amongst internationally ranked universities and eventually puts forth mechanisms of developing their performance via a questionnaire that is supposed to be applied to a sample of teaching staff. The study concludes that there are varied mechanisms for developing performance of Egyptian universities: 1) Availability of modem references for researchers as well as increasing number of subscriptions to magazines in different specialties. 2) Encourage publishing researches in international journals. 3) Formulate an independent body for classifying Egyptian universities in cooperation with National Authority for Quality Assurance & Accreditation of Education. 4) Revise contents of university in Arabic and English languages on internet. 5) Provision of methods for attracting foreign students to our universities. 6) Lay out a comprehensive plan for the scientific research in the light of society’s needs. 7) Increase the number of scholarships for master and doctoral students abroad.
