A1 العريقي، عائدة محمد مكرد AB هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على بعض الاتجاهات العالمية الحديثة في مجال المهام الأكاديمية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات، والتعرف على واقع ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة تعز للمهام الأكاديمية الثلاث (التدريس - البحث العلمي - خدمة الجامعة والمجتمع)، والمعوقات التي تحول دون ممارستهم لتلك المهام، بالإضافة الى تقديم بعض التوصيات والمقترحات التي تسهم في تطوير المهام الأكاديمية لأعضاء هيئة التحرير بجامعة تعز. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (128) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس اختيروا بطريقة عشوائية من جميع كليات الجامعة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم بناء استبانة تكونت من ثلاثة مجالات (التدريس والبحث العلمي وخدمة الجامعة والمجتمع)، بالإضافة إلى المعوقات التي تحول دون ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس للمهام الأكاديمية. وتوصلت إلى أن أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة تعز يمارسون المهام الأكاديمية الثلاث بدرجة متوسطة أقرب إلى الضعيف، وجاءت ممارستهم للمهام الثلاث مرتبة تنازليا: التدريس - البحث العلمي - خدمة الجامعة والمجتمع، ويواجه أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة تعز العديد من المعوقات التي تحد من فاعليتهم في ممارسة المهام الأكاديمية الثلاثة. قدمت الدراسة بعض التوصيات والمقترحات التي تسهم في تطوير المهام الأكاديمية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة تعز. It also identifies the reality of the practice of faculty members at Taiz University for the three academic tasks (teaching - scientific research - university and community service). It also tackles the obstacles that prevent them from practicing these tasks, in addition to presenting some recommendations and proposals that contribute to the development of the academic tasks of members of the editorial board at Taiz University. The study sample consisted of (128) faculty members who were chosen randomly from all university teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared consisting of three areas (teaching, scientific research, university and community service), in addition to the obstacles that prevent faculty members from practicing academic tasks. It has been found that the faculty members at Taiz University practice the three academic tasks with a moderate degree closer to the weak, and their practice of the three tasks came in a descending order of teaching - scientific research - university and community service, and the faculty members at Taiz University face many obstacles that limit their effectiveness in the exercise of the three academic tasks.
