A1 الدغيمات، بهية خليل AB The study aimed to identify the leadership styles of secondary school principals and their relationship to job satisfaction from the point of view of teachers, according to the variable of gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach in its analytical form and the questionnaire were used as a tool for the study. The study population consisted of all secondary school teachers in Education of the Southern Valley, numbering (716) male and female teachers for the academic year 2023-2024. A random sample was chosen based on the gender variable, consisting of (160) male and female teachers. A scale was developed to identify leadership styles with (43) items that included (four areas), namely (the democratic style). The results showed that the degree of use of leadership styles was moderate. The results also revealed the existence of a positive correlation with statistical significance between the democratic style of school principals and the job satisfaction of teachers. The results showed the existence of a negative correlation with statistical significance between the style. Dictatorship and the anarchic style of school principals and job satisfaction of teachers. The study recommended the necessity of strengthening the democratic style among school principals because it increases teachers’ motivation to work, and conducting other studies and research related to leadership styles in different groups and regions and their relationship to other variables.
