A1 الحناقطة، بشرى أيمن A2 القضاة، محمد إسماعيل AB The study aimed at investigating the level of social anxiety and its relation with the difficulties of emotional regulation among (TTU) students. The correlative descriptive approach has been adopted for the purpose of analysis. The sample of the study consisted of (420) students who were chosen randomly. After proving their validity and reliability, two scales were developed by the researcher and used: Social Anxiety Scale (SAQ) with (23) items and Difficulties of Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS) with (30) items. The results indicated that SA degree and DER degree were average among (TTU) students, and there were no significant statistical differences in the total degree of SA attributed to gender, college variables, or the interaction between them when (α=1.15) is used. Furthermore, there were no significant statistical differences when the total degree of DER attributed to gender or college variables when (α=1.15) is applied. However, the results showed significant statistical differences in the total degree of DER which are attributed to the interaction between gender and college variables when (α =1.10) is applied. Finally, the results showed a statistically significant positive correlative relationship between the SA degree and DER degree among (TTU) students when (α=1.15) is applied. In conclusion, the study recommends the following: spreading awareness about emotions and emotional regulation among students by designing guiding programs, and conducting more studies about emotional regulation difficulties- specially lack of emotional recognition.
