A1 Ibrahim, Omnia Latif AB This study aimed at using infographics to enhance STEM students’ vocabulary retention and visual literacy. The study was conducted in the second term of the academic year 2022-2023 during the "English for STEM2" course. The study adopted quasi-experimental research design. Thirty-nine students enrolled in the 1st year STEM program at Minia Faculty of Education participated in the study and acted as one study group. The instruments of the study included a test for vocabulary retention and a scale of visual literacy. The course consisted of ten sessions, one hour a week through face-to-face instruction. Results showed statistical improvement in the post-measurement of the vocabulary retention test and visual literacy scale. Recommendations and suggestions for further research are presented.
