A1 سعيد، أفراح إبراهيم AB Feeling of guilt is a prevailing phenomenon in the human race. However, the human being is normal and has emotional balance, it is inevitable that s/he makes some mistakes, feels wrong or has self- reproach of what s/he acts or has mistaken beliefs. The problem of the present study is concerned with feeling of guilt phenomenon in the students of the preparatory stage, it proceeds from knowing this type of human behavior m how it is predicted, finding out its effects and controlling its consequences. What enhances the significance of the present study is that the researcher has selected Fifth preparatory Students as a sample for the study because they are in the adolescence stage, adolescence is the most dangerous stage that confronts parents, educators, sons and daughters because it is the stage of change in attitudes, orientations, wishes and body attributes. According to the above problem, the significance of the study and the consequences of feeling of guilt on the individuals, the researcher has opted for investigating the relationship between feeling of guilt, sex and specialization. The sample has been selected at random, it consists of (200) male and female students. To achieve the objectives of the researcher has prepared a scale for measuring feeling of guilt. The scale is composed of (45) items. The face validity of the scale has been verified when it is exposed to the experts. Five items have been omitted because they are invalid. The recognizable items have been extracted by means by means of the two extravagant groups and the relation of the item with the whole mark. The stability of the scale has been extracted by repeating the test. The scale, consequently, consists of (40) items, it has been applied on the research sample. The data has been collected, then, Pearson's correlation and T-Test have been used. The conclusions have shown that feeling of guilt level of the fifth preparatory students is high and there is a statistical difference in the feeling of guilt, this difference is attributed to the variables of sex (male - female), specialization (scientific - literary) for the advantage of males and the scientific specialization. According to the conclusions, the researcher gives some recommendations and suggestions.
