A1 الزين، حنان بنت أسعد AB The aim of this study is to explore the effect of teaching in interactive virtual classes based on social learning theory on the academic self-efficacy and to the enhancement of the concept of information security. A total of (34) female students, who were taught the subject of educational technology from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, participated in the study. The semi-empirical approach was used, and the level of enhancing the concept of information security was measured by applying a pre/ post-test on the sample. The academic self-efficacy of the students was measured through the academic self-efficacy scale designed by the researcher. The results indicated that teaching in virtual classroom has a high level of promotion of the concept of information security, and the high level of academic self-efficacy among female students of the study sample. In light of the findings of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions.
