A1 الرميضي، خديجة بدر ناصر AB The objective of this study was to identify the differences between males and females in positive thinking and academic self-concept. It also aimed to identify the relationship between positive thinking and academic self-concept, and to identify the possibility of predicting the level of academic self-concept through positive thinking among primary school students with reading difficulties. The basic sample consisted of (200) students with reading disabilities. They were divided into males and females of 100 students. The study tools were in the measures of reading hardness, positive thinking and academic self-concept. The results of the study indicate that there are statistically significant differences between males and females in positive thinking, academic self-concept, and a statistically significant relationship between positive thinking and academic self-concept among students with learning difficulties.
