A1 سمحان، منال فتحي عبد الرحمن AB The current study sought to present a proposed conception to activate the university’s role in developing the dimensions of global citizenship among its students in light of the views of faculty members by identifying the concept of global citizenship, its importance, objectives, characteristics and dimensions, and identifying the views of faculty members about the university’s role in developing the dimensions of global citizenship. , The obstacles that transform this, and proposals to activate that role. To achieve its objectives, the study used the descriptive approach procedures, using the questionnaire as a means to collect its data that had been prepared, codified and applied to a sample of faculty members, and the original community from which the study sample was derived was composed of faculty members in three Egyptian universities (Cairo - Al-Azhar - Menoufia). (18126) members in the 2019/2020 academic year. A sample of (280) was chosen by 1.54% of the original community, and incomplete and invalid questionnaires were excluded, and the number of valid questionnaires reached (253), or 90.36% of the sample, in order to get acquainted with their views on the university’s role in developing the dimensions of global citizenship. And the obstacles that transform that, and proposals to activate that role.
