A1 العنزي، صالح هادي A2 المنصوري، مشعل بدر A2 بليه، عبد الله حمد AB The study aimed to reveal the effect of the mastery teaching method in the development of academic achievement in mathematics among the slow learning students the eighth grade in the State of Kuwait. The researchers used the experimental method to answer the research questions, they divided the sample into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group consisted of (16) students and the control group consisted of (15) students from the eighth grade students. The experiment lasted two months. The experimental group was taught using the mastery learning method, while the control group was studied in the traditional way. The study showed statistically significant differences between pre-test and post-test in (academic achievement) among experimental group students in favor of post-test.
