A1 الملا، بثينة عبد الله AB This study aimed to identify Art practicum problems in Kuwait from the viewpoints of student teachers and academic supervisors. To meet this purpose, the study utilized an inventory of problems encountered by female student teachers at Art Education in practicum and an evaluation form of academic supervisor’s skills. The results revealed some problems related to trainee students, schools and assistant teachers. Recommendations included the need for developing the professional competency of academic supervisors; the commitment from the part of the student teachers to timetables, rules and principles of the practicum; continuous guidance from assistant teachers to the trainee students to solve the problems encountered while training; and supporting the students with the needed facilities, materials and instructional media for teaching arts.
