A1 العطوي، صالح سليم سلامه AB This research aimed to assess the social and national studies curriculum for 5th grade from social and national studies teachers' perspective at Tabuk region in the KSA. The sample included 120 male teachers from Tabuk and a questionnaire was utilized for data collection and included six dimensions to assess the social and national studies curriculum and each dimension included a number of items related to the topic of the study. The reliability and validity of the tool was checked by subscribing it to a jury of specialized arbitrators and it was modified based on their opinions. In order to check for consistency, the tool was applied on a pilot sample of 25 male teachers and coefficient was calculated using Cronbach alpha and was (0.82) for the scale as whole. Results indicated that the dimensions of the social and national studies curriculum assessment were educationally accepted by participants and the dimensions' order was as follows: book content, book objectives, questions, activities and methods, the technical format, presentation and the introduction of the book and all participants highly agreed on the items of the tool.
