A1 عبد العال، رشا محمود بدوي AB The current research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a sensory integration-based program in developing mental and social skills for educable pupils with mental disability . The reseach group included 20 students who were selected from the School of Intellectual Education in Arab Jahineh in Shebin El Qanater groups. The researcher prepared a program based on sensory integration (after accessing Internet sites and projects related to the research topic) and taught it through some active teaching strategies (cooperative learning, peer learning, role play, inquiry stories). The research instruments (Mental skills Visual’ Scale and Social Skills’ Scale) were pre and post applied on the research. The research results indicated that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the research group students in the pre and post-application of the research instruments in favor of the post-application. This signifies the effectiveness of the program based on the sensory integration and its administration using some effective teaching strategies in developing mental and social skills for educable students with mental disability.
