A1 المصري، أنوار علي عبد السيد AB The research aims to demonstrate the program proposal based on cooperative learning in the development of the cognitive aspects of the performance and skills of planning the lesson with students fourth year specialization Home Economics Faculty of Specific Education. The study depended on the Experimental approach using the experimental design of one group which used one of the co-operative learning strategies. On applying research tools; including an achievement test to determine the level of students' performance at the cognitive aspects of lesson planning skills and an assessment card to determine the level of students' performance at the performance aspects of lesson planning skills, The research found to have a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of students in the experimental group pre and post two applications for the post application in all aspects of the knowledge and performance skills to the planning the lesson. The study had a number of recommendations. One of them is including co-operative learning as a teaching strategy in teacher preparation programs at faculties of Specific education and also holding workshops to train teachers on this strategy.
