A1 أبو بكر، عبد اللطيف عبد القادر AB This study aimed at preparing a program for teaching Arabic literature in the secondary stage in the light of the levels of mental capacity and verifying its impact on the achievement of first-year secondary students and attitudes toward literature. In this way, there searcher prepared a list of criteria to be fulfilled in literature, in the light of the levels of the mental capacity. The researcher also prepared a an achievement pre-posttest and an attitudinal scale toward literature. The study concluded that there were significant statistical differences between the pre-post applications of the tools for the sake of the post applications as well as a high degree of effectiveness of the proposed program proposed in achieving its objectives.
