A1 مشكور، نجاة باقر AB It is our duty to draw attention to all that brings confidence back to these children and educate them and integrate them with their peers in society. Sports has a great role in development and improvement of healthy individuals as well as individuals with diseases including the children of autism. Sports are crucial for the development of psychological, motor and mental skills. Therefore, the researcher decided to choose her problem by preparing two programs for autistic children in competitive and non-competitive games in a meaningful way that gives the opportunity to develop the processes of thinking and not running or jogging. Thus the research aimed at encouraging thinking, attention and cognition and learning skills through fitness. The subjects were (12) children with autism disorder from Al-Duha Institute for children with autism disorder. The program was applied then the data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that the program has positive effects on the development of motor skills, especially competitive games. Finally the researcher recommended using competitive games for developing motor skills in children with autism.
