A1 الحميري، عبد القادر بن عبيد الله AB The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of a proposed training program to develop non-verbal communication skills in a sample of foreign faculty members (non-native Arabic speakers) at the College of Science at the University of Tabuk. The study employed the quasi-experimental approach using two equal groups; control and experimental groups. The sample was 26 members divided equally between the two groups with an average age 42.15 and standard deviation 5.61. The program has been implemented and pre, post, and sequential measurements have been conducted using an observation card. Findings of the qualitative and quantitative analysis showed that there are statically significant differences in the non-verbal communication skills among the experimental group. Also, the post-observation results showed significant results compared to the pre-observation findings. In addition to this, results showed noteworthy differences in non-verbal communication skills among the experimental group as related to the sequential measurements (one month and two months) compared to the post-observation results. The participants stated a number of suggestions to develop the program and in the light of the results a number of recommendations have been presented.
