It also aims at knowing the effect of gender, experience and the qualifications of the librarians on their ability to initiate the electronic libraries. This study has used a descriptive surveying approach. The population of the study included all librarians of the public schools in the United Kingdom of Jordan which is (1210) librarians in the academic year 2018/2019. A sample of this population has been taken that including 292 librarians. Of which 209 has responded in percentage of (71.6%). To achieve the aim of the study, a survey of two parts has been deployed. The first part included the demographic data of the reps has pendant. The second part includes the factors that affect setting up the electronic libraries axes. The results of the study have shown that the factors that affect initiating the electronic libraries in the public schools in the United Kingdom of Jordan had an intermediate levels. Moreover, the results have shown that human factors played a main role in the study. In addition, the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at (0.05≥ α) in the evaluation of the librarians about the factors that affect building the electronic libraries in the schools in Jordan. The However the sender variable showed a statistically at significant differences in regard to the economic factors at (0.05≥ α).
