A1 طلبة، خلف عبد المعطي عبد الرحمن AB The research aims to develop some literary appreciation skills in Arabic language for the second grade preparatory pupils. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared questionnaire of literary appreciation skills, a scale of literary appreciation and program based on the aesthetic approach. The researcher chose a sample of (64) pupils from two school, and Hamed Masaoud School in Fayoum Governorate. (34) Pupils from Amr Dahsan School for the experimental group, and (30) pupils from Hamed Masaoud School for the control group. The findings of the research revealed a statistically – significant difference at the level of (0.01) between means of score of the experimental and control group in the literary appreciation post scale in favor of the experimental group. The researcher recommends using the aesthetic Approach for developing Arabic skills, in the educational stages.
