A1 الصقرية، رابعة محمد AB The study aimed at identifying the level of moral reasoning in relation to some variables, namely gender, specialization and class. It also aimed at investigating the relationship between moral reasoning and academic achievement. The sample of the study consisted of (223) students. The descriptive method was used in the study and the moral reasoning scale was the instrument used to collect the data of the study. The results revealed that more than half of the sample (88.8%) was on the second level (Social system and Conscience Morality) of Moral Reasoning. The results also revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between males and females on moral reasoning level in favor of females. In addition, there was a statistically significant difference between arts and science students on moral reasoning level in favor of the science specialization students. On the other hand, there was no statistically significant difference on the levels of moral reasoning due to the class variable. Moreover, the results showed that there was a positive correlation between the level of moral reasoning and academic achievement. The results of this study were discussed in the light of latest reviewed literature. The study also provided recommendations and suggestions for future studies and investigations.
