A1 الشريدة، ماجد بن علي AB The study aims to identify the extent Blackboard system is used by the Faculty of Education from the perspective of male and female students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Wadi Al-Dawasir during the first semester of the academic year 2018-19. The students were divided into two groups based on their level of study. It also identifies the availability of equipment that supports the use of the system (blackboard) in the classrooms. The sample consists of 286 male and female students. A questionnaire was used to answer the study questions. The results revealed that the availability of equipment supporting the use of e-learning (blackboard) within the college is average. Also, the study found that the faculty members used e-learning (blackboard) in the educational process in the college between the middle and low levels. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between gender and the availability of equipment to support e-learning for male college and there are no statistically significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) between gender, subject and level of study and the use of e-learning (blackboard) in the educational process in the college. The results were discussed and recommendations were made based on the results.
