A1 جوهاري، سمير AB This study aimed to measures the effectiveness of a proposed training program for teachers in setif’s primary school to develop their competencies of teaching with the competency approach. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was constructed to determine the training of the teacher consisting of (79) competencies, and training program included four main axes, and achievement test consisted of (44) question of multiple-choice type, and a note card which consisted of (43) items distributed on three axes, this is after ascertaining their psychometric characteristics. The study sample consisted of (373) individuals who were randomly applied the questionnaire, and (30) teachers who applied the proposed training program. In this study, the researcher used two methods: the first is the descriptive approach, and the other is the quasi-experimental approach. The study data were processed using the statistical package program(spss).The results of the study revealed the existence of(21) skills needed by the training of primary school teachers to teach with the competency approach, which formed the core of the proposed training program. The results of the study also revealed the effectiveness of the proposed training program in the development of teaching competencies for teachers of primary school to teach with the competency approach in both cognitive and performance aspects.
