A1 الشهري، زانة A2 المنقاش، سارة عبد الله AB The aim of this study is to determine to how extent does the current giftedness programs help as a supportive resource in financing education. It aimed to identify the obstacles and requirements for benefiting from giftedness, and to develop proposals to make the most of gifted students. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive method was used. The study tool was designed as a questionnaire consisting of (30) sentences distributed on three areas which are the degree of benefiting from the gifted students as a supportive resource for funding education, the obstacles which preclude that, and the requirement needed to achieve it. The tool was applied to the study community, which reached (79) supervisors and teachers who are specialized in giftedness in the city of Riyadh. The study found that the most important elements of benefiting from the existing giftedness programs as a supportive resource in financing education are qualifying gifted students to participate in international competitions, acceleration programs to transfer gifted students to higher levels, and benefiting from them in raising the level of achievement of their troubled peers. The most important obstacles are the weakness of private sector support, gifted students’ neglect to develop their own talents, and the lack of support and awareness from the school administration. Current study also found that the investment of gifted students involves several requirements, including organizing workshops for gifted students to benefit from their ideas in developing educational ids, and recycling existing educational materials, and providing financial resources that support giftedness programs. Several recommendations were listed at the end of this study.
