A2 القواس، محمد أحمد مرشد AB This study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of training program for developing the cognitive competences of effective teaching among non-education faculty members in Ibb University. The experimental Methodology was selected and the ‘one group, Pre-test, Post-test Design’ was used. The study was carried on faculty members who were training and the sample for the present study considered of (26) participants. Data were collected using achievement test and the collected data were analyzed using paired samples “t” test. The findings of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences among mean scores of the group in pre-test and post-test in achievement. That means the effectiveness of training program for developing the cognitive competences of effective teaching. The researchers recommended that conducting training programs for developing effective teaching competences for others non-education faculty members.
