AB The current study aimed at reviewing the international models for the application of accounting in the field of education, and then introducing a suggested proposal for applying accounting in the educational offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study followed the analytical descriptive approach. The questionnaire and interview were used as tools for collecting data from the study sample that included 401 participants. They are the directors of educational offices and their assistants with a number 61, and the 340 educational supervisors. The results of the study showed that the most important requirements for activating the accounting in the education offices in Saudi Arabia are as follows: Creating a clear job description of jobs, activating the principle of reward and punishment without discrimination, setting clear performance indicators to guide individuals to achieve the required performance, and disseminating the accounting culture among the stuff of the educational offices. The study introduced a suggested proposal for the application of educational accounting in the educational offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
