AB The current study aimed to identify the requirements of the development of school leaders' performance in the light of standards of school leadership quality of Public Education Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, this study seeks to identify the statistical significant differences between the means of the respondents' responses on the requirements of requirements of the development of school leaders' performance according to the study's variables (the current work, grade). The researcher used the descriptive approach to analysis the data of this study. The study's population consisted of public schools' leaders and they are (1018) leaders and (22,521) teachers totaling (23,539) individuals. The researcher used the questionnaire as study instrument that has been validated. The data of this study was analyzed and processed statistically by using SPSS program. The results of this study show that the study's respondents agree intermediately on the requirements of the development of school leaders' performance. These requirements include supporting the activities, tools and methods that lead to the development and improvement of the school, as well as releasing the culture of school performance of the school's leaders and adopting the flexible policies based on the devolution of powers to enable workers occupationally and motivate school staff to meet the standards of Public Education Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia. The results of this study show that there are statistical significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the means of the respondents' responses on the requirements of the development of school leaders' performance according to the current position variable (teacher – school leader) for the sake of the respondents of the school leaders while there are not statistical significant differences between the respondents' responses means on the requirements of the development of school leaders' performance according to the current workplace. The study provided some recommendations to focus on the provision more incentives for the school leaders and define Public Education Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia and its standards, as well as activate the consulting role of Colleges of Education in all local universities as an experience source for school leaders and build a certain strategy to select, prepare and train the school leaders before and during the services in the light of standards of school leadership quality of Public Education Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia.
