A2 الشملتي، عمر عبد القادر AB This research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of teaching both of hadith & biography courses using KWL strategy in academic achievement among preliminary sixth grade students. In order to achieve this aim, the researcher applied quasi-experimental approach and used achievement testing tool where it is applied to random sampled consisted of (50) student from preliminary sixth grade students in Assir region. The sample was divided into two groups; empirical group whose individuals number reached (25) student that studied the unit entitled (taking the prophet Muhammad peace upon him as a good example) using kwl strategy and the other one is called a control group whose individuals number reached (25) student studied the unit entitled (taking the prophet Muhammad peace upon him as a good example) the usual method of instruction. The experiment of research took (4) weeks and during which the pre and post achievement testing was applied to both groups. The research concluded that there are strategically significant differences at the level (a≥0.5, 0) between mean scores obtained by both empirical and control group in the pre and post achievement testing in favor of empirical group students. In the light of these findings, we have submitted some recommendations and proposals.
