A2 مسعود، عبد الرحمن محمد عبد الرحمن AB The present study attempted to investigate the effect of self– regulated learning strategies training on academic procrastination for college academically delayed students. The participants of the study of the college academically delayed students, totaled 80 students, were divided into two groups: experimental group and control one, each contains 40 students. the instruments of the study included two scales : academic procrastination scale and-self-regulated learning strategies scale that involved setting goals , planning , self – monitoring , time management , self – reinforcement , environmental control , academic help seeking and self – evaluation .the results of the study indicated that the experimental group outperformed the control group due to self – regulated learning strategies training and reduce academic procrastination level.
