AB The aims of this study is to know the effectiveness of science, technology, society and environment (STSE) approach in teaching geography to develop future thinking skills and awareness of dimensions of the future outlook for 1st grade secondary school students. The search was applied on sample from 1st grade secondary students. The sample is divided randomly into two groups, experimental group numbered (30) students and control group numbered (30) students. The researcher prepared appropriate. Future thinking skills list, and determined dimensions of the future outlook for some issues (STSE). Furthermore the researcher prepared student book and teachers guide in light of (STSE) approach. The researcher prepared two measuring tools. These tools are future thinking skills test and awareness of dimensions of the future outlook scale. The results indicated that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application future thinking skills test and awareness level of dimensions of the future outlook scale in favor of the experimental group. These results indicated the effectiveness of (STSE) approach in develop the search variables.
