AB The study aimed at revealing the effectiveness of a suggested unit in science brain-based learning theory for developing visual thinking skills, scientific tendency and achievement of intermedia brain-based learning ate first graders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (n= 46). The experimental design was based on only one experimental group that studied the unit entitled “The importance of air and water for life “according to the brain based learning theory. Visual thinking, achievement tests and tendency scale were prepared for the unit content for the intermediate first graders. They were applied pre-and post-the intervention. The study reached the following findings: (1) There are statistical significant differences (at the level 0.01) between the students' mean scores in the pre-test and post-test of visual thinking skills, tendency scale and achievement test in favor of the post test. (2) There is a significant statistical correlation (at the level 0.01) between visual thinking skills, Scientific Tendency and achievement of the intermediate first graders.
