AB The College of Education in King Saud University has approved fifty-two master theses and doctoral dissertations in the field of e-learning during the period 1414H until 1427H. The importance of research is that it helps develop and rationalize future research efforts in the field of e-learning. The most important results were that Education Technology Department is the most academic departments doing research in e-learning, followed by Curriculum and Instruction Department, and then Education and Educational Administration departments. The results showed that male graduate students were more interested than female in e-learning research, and that the theses focused on e-learning based on computer were more than e-learning-based on the internet (online), Then came study of the collective learning for small or large groups. The study recommended the creation of a research map of the priorities of the e-learning research focused ten themes: philosophy, economics, finance, preparation of teachers, administration, need of assessment, techniques used in it, and its various programs.
