تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تناول مقروئية الصحف الإلكترونية لدى الطلبة السعوديين من خلال البحث في مقروئية صحيفة آفاق الجامعية في نسختها الإلكترونية لدى طلاب قسم الإعلام والاتصال لجامعة الملك خالد بالمملكة العربية السعودية لتبيان عاداتهم وأنماطهم القرائية للصحيفة مع إبراز حجم هذه المقروئية لديهم ولإبراز سمات وخصائص القراء للصحافة الجامعية الإلكترونية التي استطاعت أن تأخذ مكانة هامة في الإعلام السعودي المتخصص نظرا لدوره الفعال في تدريب طلاب الإعلام بالجامعات السعودية وتنمية الوعي الحضاري والثقافي في الوسط الجامعي السعودي. وفي نهاية الدراسة، توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج التي تجمع على أهمية صحيفة آفاق الإلكترونية ودورها البارز في تناول قضايا وشؤون جامعة الملك خالد مما جعل طلاب قسم الإعلام والاتصال يعتبرونها مركزاً تنويرياً لهم وللمجتمع المحلي والوطني وتحظى بمقروئية واسعة لديهم وتبين حجم تعرضهم الكبير لمضامينها من خلال عاداتهم وأنماطهم قراءتهم لها مما يدفعها لتحسين مقروئيتها أكثر من خلال تطوير أداءها باستمرار للمحافظة على مكانتها لدى الطلاب ولتكون مركز اشعاع إعلامي في الجامعة. This study seeks to address the readability of electronic newspapers among Saudi students by researching the readability of Aafaq University newspaper in its electronic version among students of the Media and Communication Department of King Khalid University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to show their habits and reading patterns of the newspaper, highlighting the size of this readability for them and highlighting the features and characteristics of the readers of the press The electronic university, which was able to take an important place in the specialized Saudi media, due to its effective role in training media students in Saudi universities and the development of civilizational and cultural awareness in the Saudi university society. At the end of the study, the study reached many results that gathered on the importance of the Aafaq electronic newspaper and its prominent role in dealing with issues and affairs of King Khalid University, which made students of the Department of Media and Communication consider it an enlightening center for them and for the local and national community and has wide readability for them and shows the extent of their great exposure to its contents through their customs And their patterns of reading it, which drives it to improve its legibility further through the continuous development of its performance to maintain its position with students and to be a bright media center at the university.
