استهدف البحث الحالي التعرف على أثر استخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) على تنمية مهارة إنتاج الخريطة واتجاه طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي نحوها بجدة. واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج شبة التجريبـي ذا التصميم القبلي - البعدي وأعتمد هذا التصميم على مجموعة واحدة. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف أعدت الباحثة دليلاً إرشادياً لإنتاج الخريطة باستخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS)، ودليل إرشادي للطالبة عن إنتاج الخريطة باستخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS)، وقائمة المهارات اللازمة لإنتاج الخريطة باستخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية، وإعداد بطاقة الملاحظة وتكونت من (26) عبارة، ومقياس الاتجاه وتكونت من (20) عبارة، وتم التحقق من صدق وثبات مادة وأدوات البحث. وطبقت أدوات البحث على عينة مكونة من (30) طالبة، تم تطبيق الأدوات قبليا ثم إدخال المتغير المستقل عليها ثم تطبيق الأدوات بعديا. وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0،05)بين متوسطي درجات طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي في بطاقة الملاحظة ومقياس الاتجاه لصالح التطبيق البعدي؛ مما يدل على وجود أثر لتقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية على تنمية مهارة إنتاج الخريطة والاتجاه نحوها لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي، وأوصت الباحثة بعدة توصيات أهمها: تدريب المعلمات أثناء الخدمة على تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية، وتعميم الدليل المعد من قبل الباحثة لتنمية مهارة إنتاج الخريطة في مجال الدراسات الاجتماعية، وتوفير الإمكانات المادية والبرامج والبيانات في المدارس حتى تتمكن الطالبات من استخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية(GIS) عند إنتاج الخريطة. The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology on the development of map production skills and the attitude of the first secondary grade students in Jeddah towards it. The researcher used the semi-experimental methodology with a one group pre-post design. To achieve this goal, the researcher prepared a guide for the production of maps using geographic information systems (GIS) technology, a guide for the student on the production of the map using the geographic information systems technology (GIS), and a list of skills needed to produce the map using the geographic information systems technology, as well as preparation of a 26-item Note Card, and a 20-item Direction Scale. The validity and reliability of the material and the research instruments were verified, and the research tools were applied to a sample of (30) students. The tools were pre-applied then the insertion of the independent variable and then the tools were post-applied. The results showed statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0,05) between the mean scores of the sample in the Note Card and the Direction Scale in favor of the post application; indicating the impact of GIS technology on the development of map production skills and the attitude towards it among the first secondary grade students. The researcher has suggested several recommendations, the most important of which are: Training in-service teachers on GIS technology, circulation of the guide prepared by the researcher with the purpose of developing mapping skills in the field of social studies, and Provide physical capabilities, programs and data in schools so That female students can use GIS technology.
