هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف أثر استخدام استراتيجية التعلم باللعب في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد والتحصيل والدافعية لتعلم العلوم لدى طلبة الصف السادس في الأردن. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (56) طالبا من طلاب المدارس الأساسية التابعة لمديرية تربية قصبة اربد في الأردن، تم تقسيم العينة إلى مجموعتين ضابطة وتجريبية وأعد الباحث دليلا لاستراتيجية التعلم باللعب. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إعداد اختبار لمهارات التفكير الناقد وآخر للتحصيل الدراسي، كما تم استخدام اختبار للدافعية وجرى التحقق من صدق وثبات أدوات الدراسة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسط علامات المجموعتين التجريبية التي درست باستخدام إستراتيجية التعلم باللعب وعلامات المجموعة الضابطة التي درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية على اختبارات التفكير الناقد والتحصيل والدافعية ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء نتائج الدِّراسة قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة تفعيل استراتيجية التعلم باللعب في تدريس العلوم، والنظر إليها باعتبارها وسيلة تساعد في رفع مستوى دافعية الطلبة للتعلم. The study aimed to identify the impact of using learning by playing strategy on developing the critical thinking skills of sixth grade students in Jordan and on their achievement and motivation for learning in science. The study adopted the semi-experimental method. The study sample consisted of (56) students from the basic schools of the directorate of education in Irbid, Jordan who were divided into two groups: control and experimental; the researcher prepared a guide for the learning by playing strategy. To achieve the objectives of the study, two tests were prepared one for the skills of critical thinking and one for the academic achievement; a scale of motivation was also used. The validity of the study tools was confirmed. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group, which adopted the learning by playing strategy and the control group, which adopted the traditional method on the tests of the critical thinking and academic achievement in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations including the need of activating the learning by playing strategy and considering it an important tool helping enhance the level of the students' motivation for learning.
