هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور المرشد النفسي في الحد من قلق المستقبل لطلاب جامعة النيلين وهدفت أيضاً للتعرف على مستوى قلق المستقبل لدى طلاب جامعة النيلين حسب المتغيرات الاتية : التخصص – السكن – النوع – الكلية. وللتحقق من أهداف هذه الدراسة اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي واستخدمت مقياس قلق المستقبل، وتم اختيار عينة قصدية مكونه من (271) طالب وطالبة. استخدمت الباحثة الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات واستخدمت برنامج الحزمة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) واستخدمت للتحقق في القروض اختبار (ت) لعينة واحدة لمعرفة السمة العامة واختبار (ت) لعينتين مستقلتين لمعرفة الفروق بين المجموعتين ومعامل الارتباط بيرسون لمعرفة العلاقة بين المتغيرات النفسية والديمقراطية، وتحليل التباين الأحادي لمعرفة الفروقات بين المجموعات معامل الفاكرنباخ ولثبات المقياس. وفي ضوء المعالجات الاحصائية وتفسير ومناقشة النتائج توصلت الباحثة إلى أهم النتائج التى تمثلت في الاتي: للمرشد النفسي دور ايجابي في تحقيق قلق المستقبل لطلاب جامعة النيلين ، ويتسم قلق المستقبل لدى طلاب جامعة النيلين بالإرتفاع، وجود فروق ذات دلالةاحصائية في قلق المستقبل لدى طلاب جامعة النيلين لمتغير التخصص لصالح الادبي، وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في قلق المستقبل لطلاب جامعة النيلين لمتغير السكن ( داخلي – خارجي) لصالح الداخلي، وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في قلق المستقبل لطلاب جامعة النيلين لمتغير النوع ( ذكر – انثي) لصالح الذكور، وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في قلق المستقبل لطلاب جامعة النيلين لمتغير الكلية لصالح تنمية المجتمع. وبناء على النتائج توصلت الباحثة لعدد من التوصيات أهمها: العمل على أعداد برامج ارشادية وعلاجية لتحقيق في قلق المستقبل وتعالج المشكلات الاجتماعية والنفسية التى تواجه الطلاب ، إجراء المزيد من الدراسات والبحوث عن المشكلات التى تواجه الطلاب داخل الجامعة. The study aimed to identify the role of the counselor in reducing the future anxiety among the students of the University of Neelain and also aimed to identify the level of future anxiety among the students of the University of El Neelain according to the following variables specialization - address - gender - college. To investigate the objectives of this study, the researcher followed the descriptive method and used the measure of the future anxiety. A purposive sample of 271 students was selected. The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool of data collection, and used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the statistics used to test the hypotheses were (T) for one sample and the T test for two independent samples and Pearson correlation coefficient, and one way analysis of variance. In the light of the statistical treatments, the researcher reached the most important results which were as follows: The counselor has a positive role in alleviating future anxiety among the students of the University of Neelain; and the future anxiety is high among Elneilein University students; and statistically significant differences were found in the future anxiety according to the variables of specialization in favor of the literal; address in favor of the boarding house; gender in favor of the males and college in favor of society development college. On the basis of these results the researcher reached a number of recommendations important of which: developing counseling and therapeutic programs to alleviate future anxiety and treating the social and psychological problems facing the students, conducting more research about the problems facing the students inside the university.
