هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقويم الصور والرسومات التعليمية الواردة بكتاب أحياء الصف الثالث الثانوي من وجهة نظر معلمي الأحياء وكذلك المختصين في مجال الفنون البصرية وكشف نقاط القوة لتعزيزها ونقاط الضعف لوضع المقترحات لتحسينها، حيث إتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي لمناسبته لأسئلة الدراسة، وأداة الاستبانة للإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة بواسطة مجتمع الدراسة المتمثل في معلمي الأحياء بمحلية أمبدة، حيث تمثله عينة عشوائية قدرها 50 ومعلمة. وكذلك إستخدم الباحث أداة المقابلة معلما مع عدد ثالثة من المختصين في الفنون البصرية. وتمت معالجة البينات باستخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الإجتماعية (SPSS). توصلت الدراسة الدراسة للنتائج التالية: 1) تسهم الصور التعليمية والرسومات الواردة في كتاب الأحياء للصف الثالث بالمرحلة الثانوية طبعة (2015 م) في تحقيق الأهداف التعليمية. 2) يقوم غالبية المعلمين برسم الرسومات الواردة بكتاب الأحياء على السبورة الطباشيرية. 3) هنالك بعض الصور الواردة بالكتاب تحتاج لمعالجة بواسطة البرامج المتخصصة في معالجة الصور والرسومات. The study aimed at evaluating Educational images and figures included in the Biology textbook for third year secondary school from the prospective of both biology teachers and visual aids specialists. The study also sought to highlight the weakness of the book for improvement through the recommendations set forth by the study. The researcher has adopted descriptive analytical approach, questionnaire to collect data from Random sample representing 50 biology teachers at Ombada Locality. For data collection, the study has also employed interviews with visual aids specialists. SPSS was used for data analysis. This study found that: 1) The educational images and illustrations in the biology book for the third grade in the secondary school edition (2015) contribute to the achievement of educational goals. 2) Most biology teachers redraw figures related to the book namely on the blackboard. 3) Some images and illustrations in the book need to be processed by software specialized in processing images and graphics.
