This study aimed to determine the impact of the employment Driver model in modifying misconceptions of scientific concepts at the tenth grade students. The problem of this study was determined in the following main question: What is the impact of the employment Driver model in modifying misconceptions of scientific concepts at the tenth grade students? This main question is divided to the following sub questions: 1) What are the misconceptions of scientific concepts at the tenth grade students included in heat unit? 2) Are there any differences between the average degrees of the students in the experimental group and the average degree of the control group at the posttest that determines the misconceptions of scientific concepts included in heat unit. 3) Are there any differences between the average degree of high achiever students in the experimental group and the average degree of the control group at the posttest that determines the misconceptions of scientific concepts included in heat unit. 4) Are there any differences between the average degree of slow achiever students in the experimental group and the average degree of the control group at the posttest that determines the misconceptions of scientific concepts included in heat unit. The researcher followed the experimental method, the sample of the study is formed from (66) students in the tenth grade students in Almanfaluti secondary school, which divided into two groups, one of them is an experimental group, and the other is a control group, then the application before determining test to the misconceptions on the two groups, after that the researcher taught experimental group through using Driver model and the other control group by the traditional usual way. After finishing the application of the study, the researcher applied the test once again on the both groups the experimental and control group students. A t-test, Mann- Whitney (U) test and ETA square were used to test the hypotheses of the study. The results of the study have shown the effectiveness of Driver model in modifying misconceptions of scientific concepts through the study to achieve the following results: 1) There are many misconceptions for the heat concepts of students of the research sample. 2) There are statistical significant differences at level (0.05) between the average degrees of the students in both groups the experimental and control in the afterward testing that determines the misconceptions of scientific concepts for the benefit of experimental group students. 3) There are statistical significant differences at level (0.05) between the average degrees of high achiever students in both groups the experimental and control in the afterward testing that determines the misconceptions of scientific concepts for the benefit of experimental group students. 4) There are statistical significant differences at level (0.05) between the average degrees of slow achiever students in both groups the experimental and control in the afterward testing that determines the misconceptions of scientific concepts for the benefit of experimental group students. According to the results of the study, the researcher recommended the importance of employing Driver model in teaching science to students for its ability to modify the misconceptions of scientific concepts in a sample study and attention to the preparation of determining tests for the detection of misconceptions of scientific concepts in all stages of education.
