AB - This study aimed to identify the attitudes of university students towards visually impaired students, the knowledge level of visually impaired people's rights, and the relation between them. It also aimed to detect differences in the attitudes and the knowledge level of rights according to the difference in gender (male/female) and college type (humanities/ applied sciences). The study sample consisted of (279) students enrolled at Taibah University in the academic year 1443 H. Two scales were used in this study: the attitudes towards visually impaired students scale and the knowledge of visually impaired people rights scale. The results indicate that the attitudes were positive, and the level of rights knowledge was high. Moreover, there was a statistically significant positive relationship between the attitudes and the level of rights knowledge. In addition, results indicated that statistically significant differences related to attitudes according to gender in favor of female students. Results also revealed statistically significant differences related to the knowledge level of rights according to the college's type in favor of humanities colleges.
